1) Please do not take any of the graphics I have put on this site. I worked hard to create them and I do not appreciate thievery. This also applies to the works of literature posted here - I do not want any plagiarism here. Yes, I may not be able to catch you every time, but I'm hoping the the people on this site are good enough people as to be able to write their own stuff.
2) Do not bump your application unless a staff member has not posted in it for more than 24 hours. Yes, I know how hard it is to post an application when a staff member is not on and it takes forever to get accepted and all that but please; resist the urge. We have lives too, and we will not always look at your application right away.
3) Be respectful! We try to be fair and polite here on Carpe Diem, and rude members are never fun anyways. You are allowed to have and voice your own opinion, but please be respectful of others'. Not everyone is going to for example, like Lady Gaga, but that doesn't constitute a big fight about how amazing person #1 thinks she is and how terrible person #2 thinks she is.
4) Do not spam! We all know how annoying it is to deal with spammers, so it's much easier for there not to be any.
5) Do not just post out-of-character. I know sometimes it's hard to get muse to role play, so you hang out in out-of-character for a bit to get it back up. That's fine, nothing wrong with that. But when not one role-play post is posted from you, that's when I will be forced to take action. So please, keep the balance.
6) Do not advertise your board in places other than the advertisement board. We have an advertisement board for a reason; use it.
7) Don't bump your advertisement before 48 hours is up. It does get annoying when your advertisement is lost in a sea but remember - Those people want their advertisement to be noticed too!
8) You must like The Beatles. Kidding, but don't start up arguments over music. They tend to be annoying - Everyone has their own opinion!
